Introducing DisneyBand+ Wearable Technology on Disney Cruise Line!
Disney Cruise Line guests can look forward to an action-packed summer in 2023.
The company is celebrating its 25th anniversary by offering new themed offerings to guests. Additionally, the popular MagicBand+ technology, used at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, will soon make its way to Disney Cruise Line. The service will debut on select Disney Wish sailings before officially launching, with Disney Cruise Line calling it DisneyBand+.
This exciting new technology will provide a hands-free and convenient experience for Disney Cruise Line guests. There will be three Disney Cruise Line-exclusive designs to choose from, making DisneyBand+ the perfect accessory for your vacation.
The smart features of DisneyBand+ will enhance your cruise experience, making things like unlocking your stateroom door, charging a souvenir to your payment card on your stateroom folio, and much more, easy as tapping your wrist. And, you can wear it everywhere on the ship, even when you are cooling off at the pool, going snorkeling at Disney Castaway Cay, or taking a thrilling plunge on AquaMouse.
Even the youngest members of your family can experience the magic of DisneyBand+. Children ages 3 and up can use their bands instead of the Oceaneer Club Band to access kids’ clubs, including Disney’s Oceaneer Club while onboard and Scuttle’s Cove at Castaway Cay.
DisneyBand+ also makes it easy to capture memories from your vacation. With one simple tap, you can easily link your photos to your stateroom and view and purchase them during your cruise.
The fun doesn't stop there! Wearing your DisneyBand+ will allow you to discover enchanting surprises throughout your cruise, so keep your eyes peeled for extra moments of magic. Plus, the DisneyBand+ is rechargeable, making it the perfect accessory for future Disney vacation experiences, including Disney cruises and visits to Disney Parks and Disney Resort hotels.
Guests who are eagerly anticipating the release of DisneyBand+ will be thrilled to know that it will soon be available for purchase! Although it is not yet available, those sailing on select Disney Wish cruises during Summer 2023 will have the opportunity to order their very own DisneyBand+ through the "My Reservations" section of the website. This can be done between 11 and 45 days prior to the sail date, provided that their reservation has been paid in full. Please note that supplies are limited, so it's best to act quickly!
For those who miss the opportunity to order their DisneyBand+ online, don't worry! A limited selection of bands will be available for purchase on board during the cruise (while supplies last).
